Our Story
Born from a Love of Making Things by Hand
Spotted Feather Studio opened its doors in 2019 with a simple idea: create a warm, welcoming space where anyone — regardless of skill level or background — could come and make something they're proud of.
What started as a small laser craft business out of our basement shop has grown into a full creative studio offering monthly workshops in painting, mixed media, and more. Our goal is to bring together family, friends, and community — not only to create art, but to create lasting connections along the way.
We keep our classes small, our materials high-quality, and our instructors are genuinely passionate about what they do. Whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or looking to deepen an existing practice, there's a place for you here.

You don't need to be an artist to walk through our door. Our instructors meet you exactly where you are.

What to Expect
Your First Workshop, Explained
Arrive a few minutes early
We'll have your workspace set up and ready. Grab a cup of tea or coffee and get settled.
Everything is provided
All tools, materials, and supplies are included. Just bring yourself — and maybe an apron if you're worried about your clothes.
Work at your own pace
Our instructors guide the class, but there's no pressure to keep up. Everyone's piece will look a little different — that's the point.
Take your work home
At the end of the workshop, your finished piece is yours. We'll wrap it up so it travels safely.
